Covers the fundamentals of atomic/molecular structure, moles and stoichiometry, chemical structure, chemical bonding, states of matter, solution concentrations, acid-base chemistry, redox chemistry, and nuclear chemistry.

Prerequisite: MAT 109 or satisfactory placement.
